Excillum designs, manufactures and sells a unique x-ray source based on the proprietary MetalJet technology, awesome right? We are growing rapidly and in order to remain in forefront and meet customer demand we now need to expand the development team with an additional Software Engineer.
About the job
As a software engineer you will play an important role in our development team of a smaller company where everyone's contribution matters and is clearly seen. You will be involved in development and maintenance of the control software of the x-ray systems. Our Product are technically very advanced and we are seeking software engineers with a great interest in physics. The work tasks may span from embedded work close to the hardware over GUI / HMI to implementing algorithms and making the work flow of the system as smooth as possible.

We believe that you have
Since we are focused on hardware, it is an advantage if you have experience with embedded systems and we think you have a great interest in technology and software in general. You have a desire to investigate, analyze and implement your ideas. As a person you'd be curious, driven, structured and a have good attitude!
We require knowledge in
- M.Sc. within the fields of engineering physics and/or electrical engineering or similar
- Linux (GCC/Make)
- System integration (hardware / protocol)
Nice to have:
- Demonstrated ability to use configuration management tools, preferably Git
- Ability to develop applications targeting ARM-based embedded environments
Excillium started 2007 and our invention has won several awards and originates from KTH. The company is profitable with the clear ambition to grow rapidly over time as sales continue to increase. At the moment we are 23 people in Kista, Stockholm, whereof fourteen are working for the R&D department.
